Our unique Catholic School acknowledges Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island peoples as Australia’s first peoples. We honor their stories, traditions, Spirituality and living cultures, acknowledging their unique contribution to the life of this country.
Around 15% of our currently enrolled students identify as Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander.

Set upon 30 acres of Lake Macquarie Spotted Gum Forest, our students have on-site access to an extensive collection of cultural artefacts, tools and weapons.
Our Kindergarten students learn how to source and make their own clapsticks supported by student mentors.
Our Year 1 & 2 students have access to our Boomerang program using our locally sourced and hand-crafted hunting boomerangs.
Our Year 3 & 4 students learn how to source and make their own Boondis supported by their Aboriginal Education Teacher.
Our Year 5 & 6 students learn how to source and cut coolamons supported by their Aboriginal Education Teacher and have access to our senior Cultural Guide program that equips students to lead walking country experience with students, teachers and visitors.
All students have access to cultural dance programs and have the opportunity to perform these for community.
Our learning community strives to deliver a curriculum that is truly Australian providing opportunities for all students to develop knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal Heritage, culture, contemporary issues and spirituality.
